Frequently Asked Questions

We try to anticipate questions you might have about our products and provide some answers to the most commonly asked questions here. If you need additional information, please feel free to contact our office directly.

1.

DIMENSION OF ARMOUR STONE:

We currently carry two sizes of Armour Stone as follows:  

* 2 Wide - 3-4 feet wide x 4-6 feet long x various heights available

* 3 Wide - 2-3 feet wide x 3-4 feet long x various heights available

WHAT IS DESIGNER STONE:

Designer Stone consists of broken ends of the armour stone and as such we have various heights available.  The dump rock is smaller in size than the armour stone and is not a consistent stone.  The dimension can be up to 24" x 24".  This stone is not cubical in any way.  Very random sizes, can be jagged and/or round in shape.  Please see our Photo Gallery for pictures of this material.

DIMENSIONS OF SAW CUT STEPS:

Our torched face saw cut steps, consisting of a medium dark grey colour, are 7" high x 1.5' wide x various lengths (3', 4', 5' 6', 7' and 8') available.  Please see our Photo Gallery for pictures of this material.

WHAT SIZE OF FLAGSTONE DO WE CARRY:

We currently have two options for Flagstone as follows:

* Random Flagstone - skidded or non-skidded.  This material is 3" to   3.5"  thick and is more manageable for the average homeowner.  This material can be manuevered by hand.  Consists of a medium to dark grey with a hint of blue.

* Jumbo Flagstone - skidded or non-skidded.  This material is very random in size and oddly shaped.  A small machine would be suitable for manuevering.  Consist of a medium to dark grey with a hint of blue.
